At this stage the Merry Hound personality is developing! With a pack mentality getting along well with other dogs and playing cooperatively. Donner is weaned and eating hard kibble, our beagles are raised on Science Diet and Bottled water.

The puppies are learning to pay attention to more than just each other! They see and go after toys and wrestle them. They know where to go potty. Their world is expanding, and they're all brave!

Only one more week to wait until pups from this litter can go home. The beagle babies are learning how to get along within their little pack. How to shoulder their way through the others, and how to pounce each other in mock battle, while their tails wag!

They are moved into the nursery, During this learning stage they have many new experiences. Playing with each other and learning bite inhibition and how they will get along with each other. They still nurse a couple of time a day, but they love their kibble and gruel too!

The Puppies are into the kitchen and eating kibble gruel. They still nurse with Daisy but they are becoming independent. They love to run around exploring and pounce each other and wrestle with blankets and toys. Then both litters make a puppy pile together to nap.

Daisy's litter (and lily's) had their nails clipped this week.

The puppies now have their eyes open, and the little flaps they had as ears are growing. Slowly becoming aware of sights and sounds. Their whole world is with in the whelping box, they are still sleeping most of the time.

Daisy's pups are pampered by their mama, who only leaves the whelping box for a few short breaks. The puppies are eating sleeping and growing. Their eyes and ears are still closed since birth.

Daisy gave birth to her third litter on Dec. 01. She had 5 pups, all tri colored, 3 male and 2 female.

Daisy seems happy and is due to deliver soon.

Daisy's milk has started to come in, as you can see, but her pregnancy is still barely showing at all.

Daisy was bred with Cowboy on September 28th and 30th. We're expecting puppies on Thanksgiving, this will be her third litter.
